Account & Settings

Manage your preferences, security, and subscription

Overview

Your Account page is the hub for managing preferences, security settings, subscription, and personal data. Customize the app to your liking, keep your account secure, and manage your subscription all in one place.

How to Use Account & Settings

1

Set Your Preferences

Go to Account and configure your preferences: home course, distance unit (yards or meters), speed unit, weight unit, preferred tour for comparisons, and default score entry mode.

2

Review Security Settings

Check your security dashboard to see your login history, active sessions, and trusted devices. Enable two-factor authentication for extra protection.

3

Manage Subscription

View your current plan, access the billing portal to update payment methods, or upgrade/downgrade your subscription.

4

Export or Delete Data

Export your data as JSON for personal backups, or delete your account if needed (this cancels your subscription and removes all data).

💡 Pro Tips

  • Set your distance unit preference and it applies across the entire app including game plans and yardage books
  • Review active sessions regularly and revoke any you don't recognize
  • The billing portal is managed through Stripe for secure payment handling
  • Data export includes rounds, practice sessions, and account information

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I change my password?

Go to Account > Security and select 'Change Password'. Enter your current password and your new password.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Account > Subscription and select 'Manage Subscription'. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.

Can I switch between yards and meters?

Yes. Go to Account > Preferences and toggle between yards and meters. This changes distance display across the entire app including yardage books, game plans, and score entry.

What happens if I delete my account?

Account deletion is permanent. It cancels your subscription, removes all your data (rounds, stats, practice logs), and cannot be undone.

How do I enable two-factor authentication?

Go to Account > Security and enable 2FA. You'll scan a QR code with your authenticator app and enter a verification code to confirm setup.
