Distance analysis: average, median, min, max, sweet spot & stdev
Visual miss pattern diagrams (left/right for tee, 4-way for approach)
Consistency rating: Excellent, Good, Average, or Needs Work
Everything You Need to Know About Every Club
Automatic analysis from your tracked rounds — no extra work required
Distance Analysis
See average, median, min, max, and standard deviation for every club. A distance distribution chart shows your shot spread, and the Sweet Spot highlights your most common yardage band.
Miss Pattern Diagrams
Visual miss pattern display shows where your shots go when they miss. Tee shots show left/right split. Approach and short game show a 4-way diagram: left, right, long, and short — with percentages for each direction.
Consistency Rating
Every club gets a consistency rating — Excellent, Good, Average, or Needs Work — based on the coefficient of variation of your distances. Know at a glance which clubs you can trust and which are unpredictable.
Proximity to Pin
See how close your approach shots finish to the hole. Average, best, and median proximity stats plus a band chart showing what percentage land inside 10ft, 10-20ft, 20-30ft, or 30+ft.
Shot Quality Breakdown
Every tracked shot is categorized as Pure/Solid, OK, or Mishit. A doughnut chart and percentage breakdown show the quality distribution so you can track contact improvement over time.
Accuracy Stats
Category-specific accuracy: Fairway % for drivers and woods, GIR % for irons, and Up & Down % for wedges and short game clubs. The stat that matters most for each club type.
Scoring Impact
See the average score-to-par on holes where you use each club. Instantly identify which clubs help you score and which ones cost you strokes.
Trends Over Time
Distance and accuracy trends compare your first-half and second-half performance with direction indicators — Improving, Stable, or Declining. A trend chart plots every shot over time so you can see the arc of your game.
Usage Frequency
See how often you use each club: total shots, rounds used, and percentage of rounds. Spot clubs gathering dust or ones you're over-relying on.
How Club Stats Works
Your round data does all the heavy lifting
1. Track Your Rounds
Play your rounds and track them using Pro Entry mode with club selection. The more rounds you track, the richer your club stats become. You need at least 5 shots per club for stats to appear.
2. View Your Club Dashboard
Open Club Stats to see every club in your bag with a summary card showing shot count, key stat (Fairway %, GIR %, or Up & Down %), average distance, miss tendency, and consistency rating.
3. Drill Into Any Club
Tap any club to see the full breakdown: distance analysis with charts, miss pattern diagrams, proximity stats, shot quality doughnut, scoring impact, usage frequency, and performance trends over time.
4. Filter by Time Period
Switch between All Time, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, This Year, or Last Year. Compare recent performance to your overall stats and track seasonal changes in your game.
Why Club Stats Changes How You Practice
Data-driven decisions for every aspect of your game
Practice What Matters
Stop wasting practice time on clubs that are already performing well. Club Stats shows you exactly which clubs need work — maybe your 6-iron consistency is 'Needs Work' while your 8-iron is 'Excellent'.
Smarter Course Management
Know your miss pattern before you hit. If your 3-wood misses 70% right, aim left of center. If your wedges are consistently short, take one more club. Real data beats gut feeling.
Equipment Decisions
Spot distance gaps between clubs. See if that hybrid you added is actually performing. Compare scoring impact across clubs to decide what stays in the bag and what goes.
Track Real Improvement
Trend data shows whether your practice is paying off. See your distance and accuracy trends move from 'Declining' to 'Improving' as you put in the work.
Yards or Meters
All distances display in your preferred unit. Set your preference in account settings and every stat, chart, and label automatically converts.
Filter by Time Period
Compare your last 30 days to your all-time stats. See if a swing change is helping or hurting. Track year-over-year improvement with Last Year vs This Year filters.
Club Stats Questions
How many shots do I need before Club Stats shows data?
You need at least 5 shots tracked for a club before detailed stats appear. Clubs with fewer shots show a progress bar indicating how many more shots are needed. The more data you have, the more accurate and useful the stats become.
How does it know which club I used?
Club Stats uses the club selection data from Pro Entry mode. When you track a round with shot-by-shot detail and select your club for each shot, that data feeds directly into your per-club analytics.
What's the miss pattern diagram?
For tee shots (driver, woods, hybrids), it shows a left/right percentage split of your misses off the fairway. For approach and short game clubs, it shows a 4-way diagram with left, right, long, and short miss percentages — giving you a clear picture of your dominant miss direction.
What does the Consistency rating mean?
Consistency is based on your distance coefficient of variation (CV) — how much your distances vary relative to your average. Excellent = very tight spread (CV 0-3%), Good = solid (3-6%), Average = moderate spread (6-10%), Needs Work = high variability (10%+).
What's the Sweet Spot?
The Sweet Spot is your most common 10-yard distance band. For example, if you hit your 7-iron most often between 145-155 yards, that's your sweet spot. It helps you know your 'stock' distance for each club.
Can I see stats in meters instead of yards?
Yes! Go to Account Settings and switch your distance unit to meters. All Club Stats values, chart labels, and unit abbreviations automatically convert. Proximity stats switch from feet to meters too.
What time periods can I filter by?
All Time, Last 30 Days, Last 90 Days, This Year, and Last Year. Use these to compare recent performance against your baseline or track seasonal changes.
Is Club Stats included in the Pro plan?
Yes, Club Stats is available on both Pro ($9.99/mo) and Elite ($19.99/mo) plans. It's included in your Plans from $1 so you can try it immediately.
